Settling in to our lovely new studio at Monks Hill
Farm in Faversham where for the first time we will
be taking part in Artists Open Houses in October &
November. We will be showing work by print block
artists and makers Caroline Hoy, Alex Lee, Ruth
McDonald, Lisa Jones, Karen Radford, Ruby Green,
Micaela Beatson, Suki Hayes Watkins and Jo Aylward.
Weekends of 20th/21st/28th/29th October and 3rd/4th
November from 11am to 5pm. Come and say hello and
have a peek at our brand new space!
A new edition for artist Mychael Barratt drying on
the rack. This screen print required 8 hand drawn
stencils and a blend to create this image of the
Michelin building in London. Drawing inspiration
from Wes Anderson, his favourite american film
maker and his love of Art Deco architecture 'Wes
Anderson's Dog - Michelin Building' will be on show
alongside 'Wes Anderson's Dog - Hoover Building'
at The Masters: Screen and Stone, Bankside Gallery
London from November 7th - 18th.
These lovely poppy textile designs were originally
hand printed at the Print Block studio by Mathew May
and were sold on to leading fashion house Max Mara.
New work currently being produced at the studio by
Suki Hayes Watkins and Karen Radford in time for our participation in this years Artists Open Houses at
our new studio at Monkshill Farm and The Margate
Illustration & Print Fair, an Ink Paper and Print

London based artist/printmaker Julia Mckenzie spent a
day in the studio with Suki proofing her beautiful new
screen print 'Swanpool'. This 3 x colour print is based
on Cornish rockpool drawings and found elements from a
beach in Falmouth. This print will be available to buy
at The Margate Illustration & Print Fair on Sat/Sun
