East Kent Artists Open Houses

This year The Print Block will be taking part in 
East Kent Artists Open Houses in October. It's the 
perfect opportunity to come and say hello and take 
a peek round our new Faversham studio. We will be 
open the following weekends 20th & 21st and 27th 
& 28th Oct and 3rd & 4th Nov from 11am-5pm. You will
find us at Monkshill Farm, Monkshill Rd, Faversham

Studio Views

After a brilliant summer settling in at Monkshill

farm we are still pinching ourselves every time we 

look out the window. Big blue autumnal skies, golden 

sunsets and blackberries.

Editioning for Mychael Barratt

London based printmaker Mychael Barratt was back in 
the studio with another brilliant print for Suki to 
edition. Continuing his series of artists dogs and 
inspired by film maker Wes Anderson this 50 edition 
10x colour screen print plus a blend with beautiful
hand drawn stencils shows off the iconic Hoover 
Building. Available to buy at the end of September 
priced £450.

Pressure Sounds

More editioning for Pressure Sounds this week 7" 
house bags printed with a blend on recycled card 
with artwork from Jamaica. Buy direct from

Editioning for Kate Millbank

This series of plywood birds by Scottish artist Kate 
Millbank were editioned in the studio by Suki, more 
colour ways coming soon!

Editioning for Toby Collins

New client and author Toby Collins commissioned Suki 
to screen print the covers of his new book 'An 
Unremarkable Stone'.

Ink Paper + Print event

We are very excited to be taking part 
in this years Margate Illustration & 
Print Fair at The Winter Gardens in 
Margate on Sat 27th & Sun 28th Oct. 
The Print block will be showing a wide
selection of work by its editioning 
clients including work by Alice Pattullo.
Studio members Karen Radford and Caroline 
Hoy will also be taking part alongside 
Julia Mckenzie a regular editioning client 
at The Print Block who will have a stand 
in the Turner Contemporary. Doors open at 
11am and admission is free so come along 
and say hello!

Workshop

This Sunday we ran another workshop at our new studio

in Faversham. Five eager students, lots of sunshine and

blue skies and some really lovely work produced by this 

hard working bunch. Hoping to see you all back in the 

studio on one of our tech days!
