Hang Me Up

For this weeks Hang Me Up we have chosen
this lovely fabric sample by print block 
member Mathew May. Mathew has been busy 
working in the studio on a large collection 
of fabric samples for the fashion industry.

5 Week Course

These are a selection of screen prints which were 
produced by students on our last course before we 
close the studio for our summer break. They 
experimented with paper stencils, drawing fluid,  
photographic stencils, blends and transparent inks 
sometimes combining processes. Well done everyone!

The Beany, Canterbury

'Display Space' is a new exhibition
being held at The Beaney Museum in
Canterbury featuring work by print 
block members Sadie Hennessey and 
Ruth McDonald. This exhibition runs
from Sat 26th July to Sun 24th August.

Print Block Studio Sale

This weekend we opened our studio doors 
for our annual summer sale giving the 
public an opportunity to come in and see 
us and give advice about our work shops, 
courses and editioning service. We had on 
sale a huge amount of lovely hand printed 
goods from our members and clients all of 
which is printed at the studio. 
A very big thank you goes out to Whitstable 
for their overwhelming support this weekend 
and to all our supporters and first time 
visitors making our sale a huge success!

Editioning

Another new print editioned by Suki for 
artist/illustrator Paul Bommer this week. 
'Crabs & Shannocks' is a celebration of 
real-life Crommer and Sheringham fishermen 

and is taking part in 'New Views on Norfolk 
11' an exhibition at 'The Gallery, Norfolk' 
in Crommer from 12th July to 2nd August.

One To One

Uli Jaeger and Heather Nowak have both attended our 
one day screen printing workshops at the studio. Uli 
is currently on one of our 5 week printing courses 
and on Saturday they both booked the studio for a 
days tech support with Karen to explore their printing 
ideas.  

The Print Block Summer Studio Sale

Its that time of year and our increasingly popular summer 
studio sale is coming up fast. A perfect opportunity to buy 
hand printed goods direct from our members and editioning 
artists including original prints, textiles, cards & gifts.

5 week Course

Another of our 5 week printing courses has finished 

and the next one is already under way. These are 

examples of what a very creative group of students 

achieved during our course. They applied their skills 

to paper stencils, drawing fluid and photographic 

stencils with very impressive results, well done 

everyone.
