Edioning for Guy Jarrett

Suki has been editioning in the studio today for artist 

Guy Jarrett. Guy is currently working in Norwich and 

his work involves a strong fascination with American 

vernacular culture, the urban environment and the

One To one

Heather Nowak and David Williamson booked the studio 
on Saturday for another days tech support with Karen. 
Here are some examples of what they produced during 
the day using paper stencils and the photo stencil
process.  

Pressure Sounds

Suki has been busy again editioning her second batch 
of these vintage style 'Record Store Day Box' for 
Pressure Sounds. Each of these boxes will contain five 
45 records for Record Store Day on the 19th April. The 
box is limited to approx 350 copies and available only 
from record stores. Dub Vendor at Black Market in Soho 
will be stocking them priced £25

East Kent Printmakers

This year the East Kent Printmakers 
exhibition will be held at two venues,
the Whitstable and Herne Bay Museums 
showing from 27th March to 1st June. 
Print block member Ruth Macdonald's 
lovely screen print was selected for 
the Herne Bay poster above!

Earth and Sea

 

Following on from her recent exhibition
at The Horsebridge Arts centre in Whitstable, 
print block member Ruth McDonald will be
exhibiting 'Earth and Sea' at Strange Cargo, 
Georges House Gallery, High street Folkstone, 
Kent. This show runs from 28th March to 9th 
April. PV is Saturday 29th March from 2-4.30pm

One To One

On Saturday Maisie Burke was back in the studio for 

a tech support day and produced some really great 

prints for her partners chocolate business. We even 

got to sample the chocolate which was delicious!

Affordable Art Fair London

Over the weekend Gas Art Gallery represented print 
block member Karen Radford and editioning clients 
Julia Mckenzie and Robert Rubbish at the Affordable 
Art Fair in Battersea Park London. 

Ruth Mcdonald

Print Block member Ruth Mcdonald is currently showing 
a selection of her screen prints, paintings, solar 
etchings and mixed media drawings in The Sommerset 
Maughan Gallery at The Horsebridge Art Centre in 
Whitstable.'The Earthbound Women' collective features 
the work of 5 artists who worked together when studying 
for an MA in Fine Art and features ceramics, sculpture,
painting, drawing and printmaking. This show finishes
on Tuesday 18th March and the gallery is open from 9-6pm 
daily.

Sadie Hennessy

Print Block member and previous Jealous Prize Winner 
Sadie Hennessy will have her work on display at Saatchi 
Artist Editions and Print Gallery from 2nd to 30th 
March. Now in it's fifth year, the complete Jealous 
Prize archive forms part of the Victoria and Albert

Cathy Miller

Cathy has just completed one of our 5 week courses
at the Print Block. Having missed her final class 
she came into the studio on Saturday to finish her
lovely print.
