Inspired by a recent trip to Switzerland Suki Hayes 
Watkins has managed to find the time in her busy 
editioning schedule to produce this beautifully 
printed Cuckoo Clock just in time for our Christmas 
Studio Sale this coming weekend. You will also be able 
purchase her lovely festive Advent calendar exclusive 
to Windy Stores Corner Cafe in Whitstable and The 
Print Block.

We Are Makers

'We Are Makers' is a collective of artists
and designers from London and Kent. 
Originally set up by Oywah Chung, a member 
of The Print Block she hand selected a group 
of very talented individuals including fellow 
Print Block member Lisa Jones. Currently 
showing at The Fish Slab Gallery, 11 Oxford 
Street, Whitstable until Monday 25th November 
10am-5pm. Don't miss this opportunity to see 
beautiful handcrafted goods including 
screenprints, textiles, silver jewellery, 
ceramics & furniture. All works are for sale. 

The Print Block Christmas Studio Sale

Fast approaching is our popular weekend Christmas Studio 
Sale where you can buy a large selection of beautiful hand printed artwork, textiles, cards & gifts direct from 
the artists. This year due to the abundance of work produced 
at the studio we are extending our sale space to the upstairs room in the 'Lobster Shack' next door to our studio. Opening times are Saturday 30th November & Sunday 1st December 10am 
to 5pm. We hope to see you all there! Everyone is welcome.

Print Block member Maria Clemen has her
studio 'Pop Up' Christmas Art & Design 
Fair at Hub Gallery, Creekside, Deptford, 
South East London. To buy all manner of 
beautiful hand crafted gifts direct from 
the artists & designers come along to the
opening night Friday 6th Dec from 4-9pm. 
Otherwise it will run from 7th-8th 
Dec from 12-5pm. Everyone welcome!

Sadie Hennessy

Whitstable based artist and Print Block 
member Sadie Hennessy is currently 
showing her work in 'Identity Parade' 
at the Ort Gallery 500-504, Moseley St
Birmingham.
Sadie's exhibition explores themes 
of identity and personal representation.
Her collages, prints and 3D works 
investigate the role of women in society
especially as they grow older. The work 
reflects a fascination with the 
objectification and sexualisation of 
women in western culture, and considers
how women collude with these processes.

Editioning for Paul Bommer for Frost Fayre

Newly editioned at the Print Block for Frost 
Fayre in Spitalfields a revised '(For I Will 
Consider) My Cat Jeoffry' print back by popular 
demand and a beautiful new print 'Old Neptune 
Landing the Oysters at Whitstable' which will 
also be launched this week at The Town House 
Gallery,5 Fournier Street, London. See poster

Pressure Sounds

More records sleeves arrived at the studio
at the weekend from Pete at Pressure Sounds. 
Suki printed another 50 of these vinyl 
sleeves in red this time for the new Lee 
Perry album titled 'Roaring Lion. They will 
be released in late November featuring 16 
tracks of thunderous mixing by the Upsetters
