Whitstable Museum Workshops

On Saturday The Print Block ran two children's print 

workshops to tie in with the current exhibition 

'East Kent Printmakers' now showing at The Whitstable 

Museum & Gallery and the Herne Bay Musuem. The children 

experimented with paper cut outs, lino printing and  

screen printing techniques and produced some very 

lovely work. Well done everyone!

Textile Workshop

On Sunday we ran another workshop, this 
time it was a textile day. The class 
printed on a variety of fabric samples, 
aprons, tote bags and t-shirts. The 
morning was spent making up hand drawn 
stencils and the afternoon was non stop 
printing some of which you can see here.

On Saturday we ran another photo stencil 

workshop at the studio. These are a selection 

of lovely screen prints that our hardworking 

students produced during the day.
