5 Week Course

These are a selection of screen prints
produced by a lovely group of students
on our last course of the year. They
experimented with paper stencils and
drawing fluid, sometimes combining both
processes and spent the last 2 weeks
exposing and printing images using the
photographic stencil method.

into beautiful screenprints for her forthcoming show at The Bargehouse Gallery, Southbank, London from December

Windy Winterland

Last Night Windy Corner Stores on Nelson Rd, Whitstable
held their popular Windy Winterland Christmas market.
Delicious home made mince pies, pizza and mulled wine
was provided alongside a vast array of original hand
made gifts by local artisans. Some of our Print Block
members were also there selling screen printed Christmas
gifts including t-shirtscards, notebooks, purses,
jewellery, lavender bags, gift tags, advent calendars,
badges, tree decorations and a selection of screen
prints. It was a very lovely festive event.

The Print Block Christmas Studio Sale

Setting up this years studio sale
proved to be a massive undertaking
due to the sheer amount of work
that is now being produced at the
studio. It was a phenomenal sale!
our best to date with record sales
and attendance making us all very
proud of what has been achieved in
such a short space of time. A very
big thank you to all our supporters
and everyone who helped out over
the weekend, we couldn't have done
it without you. And a special thank
you Andrew Hayes Watkins for supplying
the best fish & chips in town when
we were running out of steam!
