Hang Me Up

For this weeks Hang Me Up we have
chosen this beautiful new print by
print block member Michaela Beatson.

White Horses Whitstable

During the Summer two of our Print Block 

members, Ruth and Micaela, were selected 

to produce designs which were printed onto 

sails and displayed at sea in a series of 

floating exhibitions and public engagement 

events. Both sails 'Indian Light' by Micaela 

Beatson and 'Moon Sail' by Ruth McDonald 

worked beautifully and were very impressive.

'White Horses Whitstable' was a collaborative 

project between  Tracey Falcon, Whitstable 

Yacht Club & Canterbury Christ Church University.

Sidney Cooper Workshop No 4

 

More joy for the printmakers on our 

last workshop of the day! We had 

lots of diversity, colour and happy 

printers leaving the Sidney Cooper 

gallery yesterday. Again a big thank 

you to Ruth McDonald, Hannah and 

Teresa who worked so hard in making 

this such a success and to everyone 

who joined in and made this so much 

fun for all of us. Not forgetting 

Hazel and Harriet for inviting us to 

the Sidney Cooper and making this all 

possible.  

Sidney Cooper Workshop No 3

More creative print making produced by 

our students during our Wednesday morning 

workshop in Canterbury. We experimented 

with screen printing using photographic 

stencils with transparent ink and mono 

printing using a variety of mark making 

ideas to create texture and pattern. Well 

done everyone!
